The Nurture Nest Residence
Welcome to our neighborhood preschool! Nurture Nest is operated out of the Robinson family home located in Cottonwood Shores. With an open concept main classroom area, sensory light room, and spacious backyard area! The Nurture Nest Preschool residence has been inspected by The Department of Family and Protective Services to make sure we operate at the highest level for our families. We want our students to feel as comfortable as possible as they adjust to being away from home without their parents, sometimes for the first time. We hope that Nurture Nest will feel like their home away from home!

Ashten Robinson
Hello!
My name is Ashten Robinson and I am the owner, operator, and teacher for Nurture Nest Preschool.
I have loved working with children since I was very young, frequently asking to help out with the younger kids in my early child care programs. I then began to dig even deeper into understanding child development in 2016 after having my first child. Becoming a mother has really ignited a passion for truly understanding children and really seeing life through their eyes. Children are people with valid thoughts, emotions, and ideas who deserve to be treated with respect and compassion. I see every interaction with a child as a chance to connect and open my mind to view things from their perspective.

Throughout the years of motherhood I have read some really amazing and thought provoking books, listened to hundreds of podcasts, and watched countless videos, shows, and documentaries all centered around child development, child psychology, communicating with children, early childhood education, and evolutionary psychology. Learning how our brains develop and mature, how we process information, how we learn *everything* from a very young age is truly fascinating to me; and as a mother of three I see it every day in my own children. I believe in being an eternal student all throughout one's life and this is a subject that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I truly enjoy being around children and seeing the world through their pure and unadulterated eyes. Starting this in-home preschool has been a dream come true and I can't wait to see where we go from here!

Nurture Nest is a family business that is very near and dear to our hearts and we can't wait for you to join us in this journey of early childhood education. We want Nurture Nest to not just be a school your child attends but more of a community of families who come together to inspire and celebrate our children. We hope to have many opportunities for our families to come together and get well acquainted with each other.

Steven
Steven is a journeyman electrician by trade, family handyman, and the backbone of our family. We have him to thank for our awesome backyard play space and fun light room features!
Jaxon
Jaxon is our spunky, witty, and free spirited 9 year old who loves to play soccer, draw, play minecraft, 3D print, and ride his bike.
Liyana
Liyana is our sweet, loving, and kind spirited 3 year old who loves unicorns, dragons, and taking care of her baby dolls. She is a student at Nurture Nest and loves playing with her friends!
Melody
Melody is our goofy, happy, little one year old who loves being in the middle of all the fun! She loves playing with her cool big brother and snuggling her sweet big sister!
